Learn West Coast Swing from the ground up!
This workshop will cover all the main fundamentals of West Coast Swing to get you ready for the dance floor in just two hours! no partner required. No WCS experience required, this class is perfect for first-timers.
***** In order to keep this as safe as possible, we will be following all OHA guidelines for indoor full-contact sports as well as requiring our classes to be vaccine-only to attend.
Here’s what that means if you’d like to join us:
Vaccine Only Classes: Students will need to provide 1-time verification of fully vaccinated status. After we’ve verified you once, we wont need to do it again. **reasonable accomodation alternative to vaccination: Negative test result for Covid-19 confirmed no more than 72 hours prior to event. A current 3-day result will be necessary before every class if not vaccinated.
Rotations and Singles Welcome: The vaccine only requirement will apply to the May 23 workshops and will apply to series WCS classes beginning in June 2021. With this in place, we feel safe enough to allow singles to return to class and to allow partner rotations. If you and a partner would prefer not to rotate with the rest of class, that is also very welcome!
Masks will be optional: As we are requiring vaccination to participate, in lieu of the recent CDC updates, Masks will be optional.
